Omaha Hi-Lo (also known as Omaha 8 or better) is frequently viewed as one of the most complicated but popular poker games. It is a game that, even more than regular Omaha poker, aims for action from every level of players. This is the chief reason why a once irrelevant game, has expanded in acceptance so quickly.
Omaha 8 or better starts like a regular game of Omaha. 4 cards are given out to every player. A round of betting ensues where players can wager, check, or drop out. 3 cards are handed out, this is known as the flop. A further sequence of betting happens. After all the gamblers have either called or folded, a further card is revealed on the turn. an additional round of betting happens and then the river card is flipped. The gamblers will have to make the best high and low five card hands based on the board and hole cards.

When there is no low hand available, the higher hand takes the whole pot.
It may seem complex at first, after a few hands you will be agile enough to pick up on the base nuances of play with ease.
